Cross country skiing - a sport of power and tranquillity 

Cross country skiing belongs to the endurance sports, is healthy and supports the cardiovascular system.

The ski trail of 10 km in Eben is just 5 minutes away and is attached to the “Tauernloipe”, a ski trail of more than 100 km.

All the trails of the “Tauernloipe” are marked as “easy”, “moderate” or “difficult”. It does not matter if you prefer skating or the classical style, in the valley or on the “Rossbrand”-plateau, the choice is all yours. Every year the international “Tauernlauf”, a cross-country ski race with over 1000 participants, takes place in Salzburg’s “Sportwelt”. Part of the race also passes through Eben.

Lovers of cross-country skiing not only enjoy the broad net of ski trails in the “Salzburger Sportwelt”, but also the trails of the mountain “Rossbrand”, 1,700 meters above sea level. It is easily accessible via the gondola lift “Papageno” en Filzmoos.
